Deck - Dynamic Displacement Sensor

The Deck device is a wireless sensor that measures the dynamic amplitude of the displacement with an accuracy of 0.01 mm and the vibration frequency (through an FFT algorithm) of any structure on which it is applied. On each sensor, a threshold can be set remotely via the Move Cloud Platform. Each sensor continuously samples the oscillation amplitude and, if this threshold is exceeded, then the sensor records and transmits the 10 seconds before and the 20 seconds after the event. It is full wireless, and the battery can last for eight years.

Applications

Railways Monitoring

Monitor the ground displacement (settlement or lateral movement) and correlates the amplitude of oscillation of the sleepers with the variation of the ballast.

Bridge Monitoring

Detect vibration trends as displacement (mm), each event is processed with the FFT algorithm (Fast Fourier Transform), used to calculate the frequency response of the oscillations more quickly.

The Deck sensor transmits accurate readings from the site via the LoRaWAN wireless communication protocol via a Gateway. You can view and interact with your data online using the Move Cloud Platform. There are multiple data processing and correlation algorithms developed by Move. Ideal for dynamic monitoring of large structures like bridges and overpasses.

OPERATION
Operation with programmed acquisitions:Record of an event for each oscillation that exceeds the activation threshold set by the user. For each event: acquisition of displacement for 30 seconds (10 seconds before and 20 seconds after exceeding the threshold). Acquisition of the temperature at each event.
Custom Operation Software:It is possible to request custom features that the customer deems necessary for their business.

Easy installation of the Move wireless monitoring system
The installation of an entire wireless sensor system on site is quick and easy: simply mount each device with at least two screws on the structure you want to monitor and power the LoRaWAN Gateway. You can configure the entire system remotely, before, during or after installation, using your laptop or tablet. After assembly and setup, the Move wireless monitoring system will start measuring and you can start monitoring remotely.

 

Operation of the Move wireless monitoring system
