Accelerometer
Wireless triaxial sensor for acceleration monitoring The Accelerometer is a wireless, battery-powered sensor that measures structural vibrations on three axes with high resolution. Designed for dynamic monitoring and modal analysis, it records acceleration events with a programmable sampling rate from 40 to 640 Hz. It can acquire threshold-triggered events automatically when a threshold is exceeded, or can be set in programmed mode when high synchronization accuracy among different sensors is required. Ideal for many applications, it enables synchronized data acquisition with high time synchronization for advanced structural diagnostics and long-term monitoring strategies.

Triaxial vibration measurement
Captures structural acceleration on three axes with high resolution, enabling comprehensive detection of even minor vibrational modes.

Dual acquisition modes: programmed and threshold-triggered
Programmed (time-triggered) mode – synchronized (with high accuracy) acquisition at fixed intervals: 1, 2, 6, 12, 24 h Threshold-triggered mode – event-based acquisition when a predefined acceleration threshold is exceeded

Compatible with MyMove Modal Analysis Tool
Thanks to sub-millisecond synchronization (±500 μs), multiple accelerometers can be configured for modal analysis via MyMove's Modal Analysis Tool. This enables computation of: • Modal frequencies • Mode shapes • Damping ratios Perfect for dynamic characterization of bridges, towers, and large-scale structures, the tool provides time-aligned data visualization, automatic frequency identification, and cross-sensor correlation

Perfect for synchronized modal analysis
Multiple accelerometers can be precisely synchronized to analyze structural dynamics and perform frequency-domain assessments across complex structures.

The sensor measures triaxial acceleration using high-resolution MEMS technology. It samples acceleration data along X, Y, and Z axes, with selectable full-scale ranges (±0.512g to ±2.048g) and resolutions down to 31.25 μg. It also records ambient temperature at each acquisition. The device supports both threshold-triggered and time-synchronized acquisition modes for modal and vibration analysis.
The accelerometer can be configured to perform synchronized acquisitions across multiple units with sub-millisecond relative synchronization (≤500 μs). In modal mode, it samples 8192 triaxial points per session at fixed intervals (e.g., every 1 to 24 hours), enabling accurate extraction of natural frequencies and mode shapes from distributed sensor networks.
Each unit must be installed with consistent orientation: X-axis aligned vertically (gravitational axis), and Y-Z axes on the horizontal plane. Installation can be on floors, walls, or ceilings, using the included mounting plate. Uniform orientation across devices is mandatory to ensure valid modal analysis results.
Once powered and connected via LoRaWAN (868 MHz), each accelerometer transmits data to the MyMove IoT Platform. All configuration parameters—including thresholds, sampling rates, and acquisition cadence—can be adjusted remotely. After deployment, no manual intervention is required for routine operation.
Depending on the selected sample rate (40 to 640 Hz), the acquisition window ranges from 1.6 to 204.8 seconds. Acceleration is digitized with a 15-bit ADC, and the noise density is as low as 22.5 μg/√Hz, ensuring clean data for structural analysis even in low-vibration environments.
