Tiltmeter
Advanced wireless sensor for static inclination monitoring The Tiltmeter is a wireless, battery-powered sensor designed to measure variations in the static tilt angle relative to the horizontal plane. Multiple devices can be synchronized across large assets to reconstruct deformation profiles and monitor structural movement via the MyMove IoT Platform.

Wireless connectivity
Long-range, low-power data transmission ideal for remote and large-scale sites.
Long-term battery autonomy
Multi-year operation with adjustable sampling and transmission settings.
Full remote configuration
Configure settings, calibrate sensors, and manage alarm thresholds, all in one platform.
Durable hardware
Built for reliable use in harsh environments.
Precision tilt. Zero wires. Total structural awareness.
Tracks angular changes with sub-milliradian resolution, giving engineers full visibility into settlement, rotation, and early warning signs of instability.

High-precision triaxial tilt measurement
Measures angular displacement around both longitudinal (φ) and transversal (θ) axes, with a resolution down to 0.0000001° and repeatability of ±0.0008°. Ideal for long-term monitoring of slow structural shifts.

Multiple acquisition and trigger modes
Supports scheduled acquisition and event-based recording triggered by tilt, angular velocity, or acceleration thresholds. Data is only recorded when meaningful changes occur.

Integrated with MyMove advanced tools
Tiltmeters are fully compatible with advanced tools in the MyMove platform: • Tiltmeter Chains Tool: calculates absolute and differential displacement across chains of tiltmeters installed horizontally or vertically. • Rail Monitoring Tool: enables the computation of railway parameters such as CANT, TWIST, track vertical displacement, and rail elevation when tiltmeters are installed on sleepers or side beams.

Environmental and vibrational context
Each acquisition includes ambient temperature and RMS/peak vibration values, supporting multi-parameter correlation and advanced condition diagnostics.

What this sensor measures
Tilt angle φ (phi)
Rotation around the longitudinal axis of the structure, typically aligned with the main span direction.
Tilt angle θ (theta)
Rotation around the transversal axis of the structure, useful for twist or lateral deflection analysis.
Vibrational acceleration
RMS and peak values of 3D vibrational acceleration at the time of acquisition, bandwidth 0.1–31.25 Hz.
Temperature
Measured at each acquisition for correlation and thermal behavior analysis.
