Technical Support Engineer

About us Move S.p.A. is a technology company active in the research and development of innovative solutions in two strategic areas:

• Move Solutions, specialized in structural and geotechnical monitoring technologies;
• Move Silicon, focused on microelectronics and the development of low-power devices.

The Position

To strengthen the Move Solutions division, we are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team at the Lucca headquarters, within the technical-commercial department. The ideal candidate will be involved in designing technical proposals, customer support, and developing tailored solutions, contributing to the expansion of the business both nationally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

• Post-sales technical support management for customers
• Technical consulting to enhance the Move Solutions value proposition and guide customers toward achieving their goals
• Customer needs analysis and proposal of customized technical-commercial solutions, including the evaluation of implementation times and costs
• Cross-functional collaboration to ensure quick and successful implementation of solutions
• Support to the Marketing team in drafting technical content and materials for promotional and sales activities
• Technical product responsibility and acting as the technical point of reference during the proposal preparation phase
• Monitoring the competitive landscape and continuous updating on new technologies and market solutions
• Internal process optimization within the Sales Directorate

Requirements

• Previous experience in similar roles: preferred, but not essential
• Basic knowledge of the main structural typologies
• Fundamental skills in static and dynamic structural analysis
• Familiarity with MS Office, CAD software, and BIM tools
• Knowledge of methodologies for defining use cases
• Analytical skills and technical reporting capabilities
• Excellent knowledge of English (minimum B2 level), both spoken and written
• Good communication skills, with an aptitude for public speaking in both Italian and English
• Ability to synthesize and write technical documentation in both languages
• Proactivity, initiative, and team-working skills

Education

• Preferred Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Management Engineering and related fields
