Our Italy Sales Director, Gilberto Braglia, explained the main characteristics of wireless monitoring of civil infrastructures using OMA (Operational Modal Analysis).

OMA is a monitoring technique that aims to identify modal properties of a structure to provide important information about its health. In order to carry out OMA on civil infrastructures, it is necessary to synchronize many accelerometers together, which is the reason why all OMA systems currently available on the market consist of wired sensors.
