Smart Monitoring for Historic Bridges – The Chetwynd Bridge Project

In this webinar, Amber Brown will present Move Solutions innovative monitoring solutions for historic structures, with a focus on the Chetwynd Bridge in Staffordshire, England. This Grade II* listed cast-iron bridge required sensitive an advanced structural monitoring, leveraging Move Solutions wireless sensors and the MyMove IoT Platform to ensure both the preservation of the structure and the safety of its users.

Our special guest, Andy Beardsley from Terra Measurement, will share insights from the ongoing monitoring project at Chetwynd Bridge, commissioned by Amey. This case study highlights the use of 36 Accelerometers, 9 Dynamic Displacement Sensors, 15 Tiltmeters, and two Move Solutions Gateways to monitor the impact of traffic and other stressors on this historic bridge.
