Tiltmeter
Wireless sensor for static inclination monitoring The Tiltmeter is a wireless, battery-powered sensor designed to measure variations in the static tilt angle relative to the horizontal plane. Multiple devices can be synchronized across large assets to reconstruct deformation profiles and monitor structural movement via the MyMove IoT Platform.

Wireless connectivity
Long-range, low-power data transmission ideal for remote and large-scale sites.
Long-term battery autonomy
Multi-year operation with adjustable sampling and transmission settings.
Full remote configuration
Configure settings, calibrate sensors, and manage alarm thresholds, all in one platform.
Durable hardware
Built for reliable use in harsh environments.
Precision tilt. Zero wires. Total structural awareness.
Tracks angular changes with sub-milliradian resolution, giving engineers full visibility into settlement, rotation, and early warning signs of instability.

High-resolution triaxial tilt sensing
Provides angular data on both longitudinal and transversal axes with exceptional resolution (0.000015 degrees), repeatability, and accuracy (0.005 degrees), enabling detailed assessment of slow structural deformations.

Scheduled, synchronized acquisition
Supports programmable acquisition intervals (2, 5, 15, 30 min) with 16-second averaging per sample. Devices are time-synchronized to capture tilt variations consistently across networks.

Compatible with MyMove Tools
Supports advanced processing through MyMove platform tools: Tiltmeter Chains Tool calculates cumulative and differential displacement across chains of tiltmeters for horizontal or vertical sections. Rail Monitoring Tool enables computation of rail geometry parameters such as CANT, TWIST, vertical displacement, and track bowing.

Inclination compensation via platform
Integrated tilt compensation aligns measurements relative to the original installation position, correcting for non-horizontal mounting.

What this sensor measures
Tilt angle φ (phi)
Angle between the sensor's Z axis and its horizontal projection.
Tilt angle θ (theta)
Angle between the Y axis and its horizontal projection.
Vibrational acceleration
RMS and peak values of 3D vibrational acceleration at the time of acquisition, bandwidth 0.1–31.25 Hz.
Temperature
Ambient temperature recorded with each acquisition.
